Reversing control

The changing of the barrel rotation direction by swinging or reversing provides a surprisingly simple solution for many applications and challenging workpieces.

Threaded rods, bulky and scratch-sensitive workpieces can be gently galvanised in this way.

Several control options are available for the reversing rotation of the barrel during the plating process. Two field-tested versions can be recommended:

• Preset turning points, i. e. the barrel oscillates around a zero point
• Rotation of the barrel without a fixed zero point. Different oscillating movements can be realised by setting a timing element. The oscillation around a zero point is achieved by setting a short time.
