Inclined Clarifier

The unit serves for rapid separation of large quantities of solid-liquid-mixtures. The sewage water flows downward through the inlet duct where it is deflected and then flows upwards through a lamella package. On this path the particles in suspension settle down onto the inclined lamellae (sedimentation) and slide subsequently into the slurry hopper. After having flown through the lamellae, the medium is cleaned from solids such that the water in the process can be used again.
By addition of minor quantities of flocculants it is possible to remove even very tiny particles (turbid matter) from the water. Moreover, due to more rapid sedimentation of the flakes, a smaller type can be chosen

Advantages:

  • high efficiency
  • dimensioned and manufactured in accordance with the application requirements
  • robust and easy to maintain
  • The design materials such as the plastic materials offered by us are resistant to most chemicals and are selected according to the existing flow media.
  • 85% less space requirement due to inclined settling surface compared with conventional settling tank
  • simple slurry removal
